His hands clutched on her wrists tightly leaving her skin blue..
His eyes gazed at her intently and smiled with a certain enmity,
'Leave me alone', she whispered..
The hideous monster said-'Oh! please don't cry'
To which the little victim said-'Just let me die..!'
He laughed-'oh no! not so soon!..
..dear for you, I am a boon!'
At his first touched she flinched,
At his second she cried for her life,
But by the third she was left with no life,
Each day the devil would take her life,
But he never realized that she was nothing but a lifeless log of wood for which he would thrive..
Tears would roll down her cheek..
But there was no one she could reach..
Each day she would ask death to touch her serenity..
But death seemed to be a vague possibility.
'He can have my body not my soul'-she'd say
But god was too busy to listen her pray
The grey light would wake her every morning,
But the devil would end her night crying.
Her dreams shattered!
The gleam in her eyes was gone,
The pinkness in her face died,
All she did was nothing but cried..
But one day luck took a turn..
The Demon did not return..
On that night, the devil was not by her side.
Sensing the opportunity, she searched a way to run out of the captivity.
The ropes plagued with her old blood were now given a touch of her fresh crimson red blood,
Soaked in it; the ropes seemed to have a warmer heart than the ghost.
So they loosened their grip to let her live..
Running for a life she thought she never had,
Now looking back at her lovers' nest
she wondered when her lover changed into the devil
And now where would he rest?
