The world is big,
And so we are,
But I thought we're bigger,
Than this world.
The stars are bright,
And so our smiles,
But I thought our smiles we're brighter,
Than those stars.
The oceans are deep,
So did our love,
But I thought our love is deeper,
Than those oceans.
The trumpet of Heaven's are loud,
So did our words,
But I thought our words are louder,
Than the trumpets of Heaven.
The universe is infinite,
But I've forgotten,
Time is only a dust particle,
And people change.
I should've known before—
I told the world we're bigger,
I told the stars we're brighter,
I told the oceans, our love is deeper,
I told the heavens, our words are louder.
It seems like my words have forsaken me.
Why didn't you tell me, I was wrong?
