Down here under the sea;
Lies my body; let it be.
Let the small minded
Ichthyo feed upon my shriveled flesh as it falls.
It has always been
Sink
Or
Swim.
My eyes burning from the salt,
growing dim.
As the salt turns and mixes;
unable to blink,
unable to think.
Only may my mind let me look in awe.
At the glassy cellophane snakes',
as they swivel up,
as they turn into the sea;
singing "glistening are we" .
Down here under the sea;
they are listening now
only to me.
Now you cry and throw your flowers; down here under the sea.
Yet as you build the towers of your castle;
remember I was always a hassle.
As my soul lays here;
deep down without fear.
My screams; the clash of the waves.
So that you can see;
let it be.
Down here under the sea.
