It was just another day at the school. But she felt quite uncomfortable. She felt useless. As the guy she loved didn't even know her name. Didn't even know she existed. How could she feel alright? She made a decision. She would talk to him today.
He was handsome. A lot of girls fancied him. But no girl ever appealed to him. She knew that and went forward keeping that in mind.
When she reached home, the first thing she did was to send him a friend request. She thought that maybe saying hi online would be way easier than in reality.
In a matter of a minute, he accepted her request. With whole will-power she messaged him a 'hello'. Her heat throbbed. Would he reply? Or not?
With any other person it was different but with him it mattered.
He replied and they talked for a very long time. Even he liked her way of talking and asked her to meet him in the school if she was comfortable.
She was above the clouds. Just one conversation and he wanted to meet her.
Her friends teased her saying that if in one conversation they were here, where they would be after some more.
For her, yes it was special to meet him in real but she knew it didn't mean anything.
The next day, when she walked down the stairs to the school ground, he was standing right there with three of his friends. They elbowed him when he looked at her with his glittering eyes. He surely started liking her at the first sight.
Her friends kept on pushing her to go say hi to him as he asked her to meet him. But she felt very shy. He kept staring at her, waiting eagerly for her to come.But she just wanted to run. And so she started to walk upstairs, but someone stopped her. Someone held her hand, tightly. When she turned around, it was him. Looking at her with fondness. Like he has known her for years not a day.
She was startled and happiness rushed in her bloods. It was nice to have him hold her. And then they talked all the way to her classroom.
The next day and days ahead, they kept meeting in the recess at the school.
And the day came that she desired.
He proposed her. And not just simply asking her to date him but a very cute way. Through a joke.
'You like knock knock jokes?', he asked with a grin.
'Not really.Why?' she replied.
'I wanted to tell you one actually.' he said.
'Oh really? Go ahead.' she said casually.
'Knock-knock?'
'Who is it?' she said.
'I'.
'I who?'
'I love you.'
And there he was on his knees holding a rose in-front of every one there.
And she was on the top of the world.
