Ek Mukhi Rudraksha: All You Should Know

Info

The 1 Mukhi Rudraksha is the rarest and most expensive of all the mukhis. It is made to look like the third eye of Lord Shiva. Most of the time, you can find this bead in Nepal. For hundreds of years, people have thought it could bring good luck into their lives.

The 1 Mukhi Rudraksha is also called the "king of all Rudraksha beads," so you can expect to find it for sale from well-known vendors. Even though it can be found in Nepal, the most powerful 1 Mukhi Rudraksha is thought to have come from Indonesia. The 1 Mukhi Rudraksha looks like a half-moon and has one seed inside.

Myth says that Rudraksha beads came from Lord Shiva's tears, which he shed out of compassion. Since then, these beads have been thought of as the rarest of all beads because only one of them is said to hold the power from Shiva's third eye.

The 1 Mukhi Rudraksha, on the other hand, is thought to have come from the third eye and has the most power. If you want to learn more about this type, keep reading this blog.

How 1 Mukhi Rudraksha Looks?

Only the real Ek Mukhi Rudraksha is in the shape of a half-moon and looks like an eye (the third eye of Lord Shiva). Rudraksha has this shape because it only has one seed inside and one natural hole. The No. 1 Mukhi Rudraksha can be round.

If you find any, it's probably not real. You have to be very careful when buying an Ek Mukhi Rudraksha because most fake sellers will rub a 5 Mukhi Rudraksha bead to get rid of all four mukhs and make it look like an Ek Mukhi. They also put a stem on it to make it look more real.

Also, Ek Mukhi Rudraksha beads that look like cashews aren't thought to be real. They don't come from Nepal, but from South India and Sri Lanka. They are a different species called "Bhadraksha." These beads are not sharp like the real ones, and they weigh less.

Some fake sellers also break the Savar bead and turn it into an Ek Mukhi Rudraksha. These copies will cost you almost as much as the real thing, but they won't help you in any way.

How to Make Sure an Ek Mukhi Rudraksha Is Real?

First, you need to look at the bead carefully and see if the Mukhi lines are all there. The lines should go from the top to the bottom without stopping or leaving gaps. Also, look for cracks or holes made by insects and see if it has been touched. If you find any of these, the bead is most likely not real.

You can also soak the bead for about an hour in warm water. Take the bead out and look at the water to see if it is clean or full of germs. If the answer is clear, then your Rudraksha bead is real. Pay close attention to the bead and look for any holes or places where glue has been used.

If you want to make sure that an Ek Mukhi Rudraksha is real, you can also use a scientific test like an X-ray. This kind of bead only has one space and one seed that is easy to see with an X-ray.

How to Put on a One-Mukhi Rudraksha?

The best way to wear an Ek Mukhi Rudraksha is on a silver or gold chain around your wrist or neck. If that seems too expensive, you can wear it with black thread and red thread. It should be worn on Monday, Sunday, or on Shivratri, which is a special day.

People also say that before you wear a Rudraksha bead, you should clean it with Ganges water or milk and give it to Lord Shiva. In order to get the benefits, the person who wears the Rudraksha must say "Om Hreen Namah" 108 times.
