Enough

I have known for quite a time

That you can fill a hundred into seconds

If it's to speak wildly of her essence

With the number of adjectives summing.

I have known for quite some time

That the heavens mean to beckon

You're at the peak of your affection,

And the words just keep on coming.

I have known for a long time

That this ending is an inception

And blue was just the exception,

And the feelings are only beginning.

I have seen enough

I should have known every time

That there will always be a HER,

And at most I will be the filler;

Following flows that end in gushing.

I should have known by this time

There'sn't much to the narrative.

I try to keep on being positive

That one day you'll come running.

I think by this far in time

That I've'n't got much of a chance

To take--no ask for another dance,

So my eyes will keep on asking,

"Am I not enough?"

I should have known...

That in which I don't

Of what the blue beholds--

And the story's been foretold.

If this was the first chapter,

Is there more to watch after?

I'll take my peek at this sun

Though you're just another one.

Haven't I've had enough?

I know there's not much time

But if you let me hold your hand,

This won't be a one night stand.

I could say at the end of the day,

"I am enough."

If you're to give a piece of time,

I could bleed the words to make you stay.

If you're to grant me peace of mind,

I could smile by the end of the day.

That would be enough

And if our drums were to ever rhyme,

If I could get our hearts to sway,

If you were to say that you are mine,

I could sing at the end of the day,

"You are enough."

And this is enough...
