Every Little Things

Never give up...
Don't lose hope...
Phrases we all have said and heard
Don't tell me you never did so
Fed up with everything
Every cruelty and injustice
Every pain and hurt
Still, never lose hope
There is still light to hold on to
Still a ray to shine on our faces
Glitters to awaken our eyes
Sheen to keep us feeling the smooths on
Murder, suicide, lies, cries
Ignore the truth
Keep watching
Do nothing
The world never changes
Change is inevitable...
Say I get myself confused
Tell me, then, have you ever changed to make the world change?
This revolve for millenias
Still, it is a world to where beings like us live
Beings plagued by its own calamities
By our own doing, too
And still it turns
And still we breathe
Too many movies
Too many stories
Too many songs
Too many to count
Each showing diversity, showing rebellions, portrayals of freedom
But this world shackles us
The stigma of the "common" lock us up
We still continue to live
Live your life the way you want to
Be yourself...
Don't let others dictate how you live your life
Such phrases more I hear and read, and so did you and we all will do so to our endings
Ask that depressed yet successful person who took his life
Tell me, did he be himself?
Smiles, laughters, happiness, joy
On the other side of the world
Hunger, poverty, abuse, discrimination
Might as well shut me up if I say we also do that
We fight for it, against it but we unknowingly do it ourselves
Human nature
Human flaws
Human instincts
Human feelings
Human struggles
Human imperfections
We speak with ink and paper, with keyboards, IPhones, Androids and monitor screens
Posts we do, published, yes, of course
Share we do, like and react we all add
Act? Don't we just stop with not acting?
We all have our own life to live
Do not mind others' business
But aren't we all interactive beings
Communicate we all do
Conversations we are involved to
Suggestions we asked
No one speaks except in their minds
Done and implemented plans
Most of us complain and see flaws
Have we done something?
Have we contributed our insights? Our ideas?
Have we put a lot efforts to see and be in the moment?
Have we try to stop and breathe and let fear and anxiety disappear?
Did we ask ourselves that each idea is a great one?
We kept talking about love
But did you ever said to yourself you love each part of you and say your world is yours?
Love one another as God loves us
Tell me, does the Creator wanted us to love with our faces and our lying mouths?
Have we all to say 'I love you today' and 'Bye tomorrow'?
Politics, war, truce
Soldiers, lawyers, doctors, professionals
Fight for your country, die for it
Be patriotic, love your culture, showcase it to the rest of us
Protect and save lives
Selfish we all are
Extend my life
I don't want you to die
Please do not stop fighting for your life
You can survive your cancer
You will defeat your enemies on battle grounds and come home to us
Blood and corpses
Scattered now
Some remembered as heroes
Others forgotten, lost and branded traitors
Tell me, then
What are heroes?
Sacrifices for peace?
Smears of red everywhere, bodies on the ground
Hurt pride and grieving hearts
We all have lost
Our beliefs, our principles, our own battles, our differences
Have we forgotten that?
Still we continue to breathe, to live, to love
Endless struggles, endless pain
Temporary things they say, not that
Heaven, hell, angels, demons
Let me show you those
Here
Here we are
Search we all do, but here, we all have that
In a child's innocent eyes
In a baby's cry after being born
A mother's love and tolerance
A father's guidance
Friends' company
A career's fulfillment
A vacation and a nap
Close your eyes
Don't fall asleep
Too much to say, to write, to tell
Mixed in a piece a few may read entertaining
May share and recommend or may not
Lines don't stop
But then end we must
We are all mortals no matter how we keep on fighting and surviving to live each day
Thankful for waking up
Mournful when someone passes away
And yet we continue to move and go about
Those dead just went on earlier
I say not be happy nor not be sad
I say we all have to meet death, a patient one that is
The world, a book that has a lot of pages
A pending story that no one knows the finale
A song that plays on and on, no one knows how to turn it off or have a chance to replay
A movie that keeps rolling on

It you, it's us... It's just an ellipsis we can't put into detail.
