Exam Fever!!

The cold weather with cool breeze was in the air. The chilly winter had been ringing the Christmas bells since long with warm sun playing hide and seek for 'twas after all the twelfth month ....the very last month of the year. Yeah! You guessed it right. It was the month of December. I had been keeping busy with my own examination at the age of 40, when I had to think more  about my daughter's future but alas I couldn't help myself from thinking about how to pass my own Examinations. Hey dude!!! Nothing to do with the medical examination type check ups you see, but it was really my MPA term end exams which actually was causing a trauma for me then. The exam stress which I could see in the faces of my children was then felt by me too. Hahaaaa..... A very kiddish feeling, right?? 

Surprisingly, I too sensed a swirl of tsunami inside my tummy. There was a great turmoil in my heart and mind. It seemed as if I was forgetting all that I had studied. I too was unlike my students who truly believed that Rome was built in a day. Did I need sympathy or empathy or an amalgamation of both? Gosh, I was in a crossroad, knew nowhere to go, how to react.... I was carrying a mixed bag of emotions, all the letters were dancing infront of my eyes. The bell rang, the papers were distributed. I started backward counting and managed to finish my paper just on time. Never looked back again and promised myself of not enrolling myself for any course again. The only reason was the fear of giving the examination. What a joke it was!! A teacher by profession and not able to take the burden of giving exams...

A smirk was on my face and just wished myself to elope from there where I could just hide myself in a shell just like a baby who is cuddled in a mother's womb seeking protection from the bad world.....
