It started in my school time,
I was dressed all set, with a neck tie.
The final day of the final exam,
Of the 7th std, as I know it was.
I wished she sat just beside me,
from the day I entered the 7th 'C'.
This wish did never came true et all,
Until that day in the exam hall.
Yes She was there on the bench beside,
Glowing like the sun in the 10 am sky.
The hair strand on that beautiful side,
I was mesmerised for the whole time.
Before I realised, she asked,"What's 17th?",
It took me a while to accept the reality.
We had a chat the first n for the last time,
N she awaited my answer all this while.
I don't know the amount of time, that pause longed,
But the exam bell had timed it wrong.
The magic of that moment ended so short,
N my day was over in that exam hall..!!!
