Fear

3 foot under,

beneath the wooden door,

the soil muffled his hysteric cries.

Up and down,

she gulped in more,

as she tried to catch the fisherman's eyes.

At the young age of 9,

grilled as toast,

he realized that burning hell wasn't a lie,

Flying, wind breezed through her face,

the land creeped closer ahead,

this is not, how she thought, she'd die.

Often unimaginable,

or what we think is, for another,

sculpts the nightmares we hide under our "secret" feathers.

Oh! Are we being real? Then here goes:

From the monster under my bed,

to falling into the neverending hole.

I sobbed in pain, of scars that the real demons left on my throat.

Ah! How can I forget,

the innocent mistakes of a child,

but a cane has more feel to it,

the words simply can't keep him horrified.

Racing to groom, to become a man,

you gave it your all for his vacuous praise,

only on paper he knew, oblivious what were you,

misunderstood, misjudged, are you yet afraid?

For now the terror begins, your emotions unswayed,

right or wrong, you do everything unfazed.

But you won't hurt those you call your close top,

you are the one you should be afraid of.

So whatever you fear, talk about it,

sadistic, masochistic, or lame it may feel,

even if it's your thoughts so unfathomable,

that it has kept you on your knees,

Let it all out, give the world some scare,

For you are the only one, you should fear.
