Eyes

Welcoming the first light of a new day with my half shut sleepy eyes , i set off on a journey of certainties and uncertainties where i am greeted by unfriendly eyes who have lost their shine and are left with only barren views without any expectations of a sweet rain .

I during this journey of mine search for pairs of familiar friendly eyes who light up on the very sight of mine and go on to spread their shine to my own pair of eyes .

Together these eyes roll out on a treasure hunt to find blissful moments which we are gonna fossilize deep inside the layers of mind weathered by the sands of time slipping and rubbing past .

Just as the warmth of the day fades away into the coldness of night my eyes get restless as they have reached the end of the day's journey and are anxious to greet the new adventures of certainties and uncertainties dripping with darkness carrying the hopes of a new dawn and new sweet fossils ...
