For a random teenager "Me" , I've experienced failure .. not in my studies or in my collage , but in my personal life, and that sucked more. When a person fails an exam he stays sad for a while and then he gets over it, but when a person fails his own life it's pretty hard to get over it.
When a person feels down that's normal , we all have our ups and downs .. but when it's up normal as it lasts for a long times , that's a serious matter.
When you feel that the world against you, and you are losing it .. when you feel nothing matters any more or you've lost all your dreams .. when you feel it's getting harder to accomplish anything ... when you feel you've no one to talk to or no one will care enough to listen ..
When you feel useless , and you feel like not getting out of bed in the morning.
All of these are the most common negative feelings we all experience from time to another , the good thing is , it's normal to feel these feelings or to feel sad about having them , but what's bad not knowing how to get over these feelings!
Let me tell you what I do usually to get over this , very simple steps ..
1- Number one thing you must do is getting close to God, and have more faith , trust me this always works .. you only have to pray with your heart not your body, you must believe Allah always listens and he will guide you to the way .. you can read Qur'an from time to another and you'll feel much happier inside ..
2- You may think you don't have anyone to talk to , but that's the negativity talking in your head , somehow there will be someone who will listen no matter how long you'll talk , a boyfriend / girlfriend , a family member , a best friend or even an ordinary friend ....
you'll find someone to talk to , someone will carry the weight for you, and may be you'll be lucky enough to get an advice in the end of your conversation
3- Let's assume you're not the type of person who feels comfortable in letting his feeling out , that's alright ..
you only have to learn to enjoy yourself .. how ? ..
you can go out by yourself , you may think that's silly or boring but that depends on how you look to yourself .. Do you find yourself boring ? Do you think you cannot be enjoyed by yourself ?
The answer is I THINK I CAN .. no matter what don't let the thought of being lonely sucks get to your head , you may be the type of person who gets more fun alone , being alone makes you realize our true worth , make you know you can be more fun than people sees you .. you can get out and go to a movie , you can eat outside in some place you like , you can walk or exercise ...
4- Take a shower , a cold or hot shower , whatever you prefer .. That will make you feel refresh ..
5- Take care of yourself , get you hair done , wear your favorite clothes , put your favorite perfume , make a favorite meal and eat it ..
6- Some people find happiness in reading , Some others enjoy hanging out with friends or family , Some find it really enjoyable to cook or to dance!
To sum up , whoever you are , no mater how old .. you'll always find something to cheer you up , may be at one point of what i just mentioned, or may be something else ..
My point is .. don't let the negativity control your life , because once it does , not only you will hate yourself , but every one around you will hate just being around !
