Fighting for the Wrong Person

"Love is worth fighting for, " they say,
But fighting for the wrong person,  is it okay?
Marching to an unfair war everyday,
Without any idea of how long you can stay,
And not knowing if you've gone too far or half away,
The wrong orders of your foolish heart, how long would you obey? 

Fighting..

For the person who can't even see the sadness in your eyes,
Everytime you force a laugh and fake a smile,
For the person who can't even count your tears last night,
For the person who can't  even hold your hand and ask "Are you alright? "
For the person that walks away immediately when you say "I'm fine"
For the person who doesn't even know you're hurt and tired,
For the person that makes you happy just for a little while,
For the person who would ask "What am I missing? " when you flew,
For the person who doesn't know how to love someone like you,
For the wrong person who also fight but for someone else's war..

Again, "Love is worth fighting for" they say,
But fighting for the wrong person is not okay, And so I'll start fighting to let go somehow,  somewhere,  someday.
