Finally

She saw her shadow in front of her shorten as the blazing white light slowly engulfed it...she turned to look behind... and then with a deafening sound everything turned black...

A half opened pair of eyes saw the first streak of golden ray falling over the blue blanket on her numb body. Confusion struck her...the deafening ring echoing in her ears. Tried moving her head to look around...on failing to do so, she opened her blue eyes fully only to look into a pair of deep brown eyes staring back at her.

A smile touched those eyes and a whisper broke the ringing echo in her ears," Finally!! Thank God!"

She knew the voice was unknown, so were those eyes... she focused on his face as soon as she could withdraw her glances from those deep eyes... He was a boy maybe a very few years elder to her...messy hair, light stubble on his cheeks, a sharp nose and those intense eyes....eyes she had never seen before.

Finally focusing on his words, she tried to smile in response. Seeing her smile, he rushed out of the room only to come back with a doctor by his side.

"There there, you look fine to me now... do you remember who you are and what happened to you?", the doctor inquired.

"Yes, some car hit me while I was returning from...", she finally found her voice.

"Uh, that car was mine... I am s-sorry...", he mumbled, looking into her eyes yet again.

"Yes! Young man the police will be called and you can give your explanations then...",the doc continued.

She to cut him short said, " No need, let it be... I am okay now... its just my head which hurts..."

"That is because you had three stitches on your forehead and a few scratches on your elbow and legs...Are you sure..no complaints?"

"Yes..", she turned to look into those smiling eyes...

After that no words were exchanged, smiles did the magic and eyes captured the moments...until yesterday...

She opened her blue eyes, only to look into a pair of deep brown eyes staring back at her.

A smile touched those aged eyes and a whisper broke the morning silence," Finally!! Breakfast is ready Dear!"
