"do not play with fire."
some said.
to hell with their notions, i say.
i will play with fire and steer it,
and i say this with faith because
i own its every wing and flame.
i've harnessed and tied it
by its feet and forearms.
listen to me when i say that
i will eat fire.
i will chew fire.
i will fuck fire like no mistress ever
to have spread her legs on my bed.
i will embrace it and play with it
until it burns the nihilism out of my cynical cage,
sculpted by the hands
of cowardice and ungratefulness.
i will fuel my fire
and dance around the ashes like a mad man.
do not be afraid.
say to yourself, human,
"i am fire
and everything
it destroys, ever so magnificently."
This is about how important traveling is to me. I've always found my home to be out there somewhere.
