Do you need an urgent bed? Or you need to get a dining room, lamp, or sofa without spending a lot. It happened to me that in the middle of an emergency I needed a mattress and after Hurricane Maria made my budget imbalance I didn't have the money to buy it. Then use these 3 sites that I explain to you now and I got the mattress for free! Here are the 3 places where you get free furniture:
1.Facebook- The Marketplace on Facebook is the classifieds site within Facebook. When you log into your account you will see a symbol at the top that looks like a store (see the photo below). Once you enter the marketplace, you write for free or FREE in your search and all the available articles appear. The automatic search is 22 miles around you, but you can also adjust it or even search elsewhere outside of where you live. This is how I found my mattress. Especially on weekends or at the end of the month when people are moving, you will find more free furniture.
2.offerup-This application can be downloaded to your cell phone ( android or iphone ). This app is also classifieds and just like on Facebook you do a search using the word FREE or free and you find everything. Although not free, I have bought items in this app very cheap. What I like about this app is that it is easy to use. I have also used it to sell, since it is easy to put photos, a description and immediately your products appear in the app. This is my second favorite site for finding free furniture.

Craigslist - The site of Craiglist is one of the best known for classifieds. They do not have an official app, but you can go directly to the page on your computer or cell phone. However on Craigslist , the free section is hidden. You have to go first to the For Sale section, and then look for the Free category. Again, there you can find free furniture like dining room furniture, televisions, and other things. What I notice is that free furniture is usually large furniture and items that are not so easy to load in a cart.
Another tip, if you see something that interests you, call quickly and ask for the address. There are people who do this every weekend, picking up free furniture and then selling it. Also, if you have a truck, pick-up truck or something to transport it, it is better.
