There was a time when I was free,
Free from a world that seemed to busy.
Growing up and learning a lot,
To fight, to compete, to start from the dot.
Trying it hard to reach where I want,
Ghosts then came, my dreams to haunt.
People who couldn't do something on their own,
The real ghosts to me, now were shown.
Escaping those many hands, as down they pulled,
Didn't know my determination as to what I could.
Because I can beat all, leave them behind,
The more they pull, the more I shine.
A moment then had come, I wanted to give up,
They felt so good to see me stuck.
Up I came with thrice that might,
Proving all my efforts to be right.
Lighting up the darkness that held me back,
For they had said how much I lacked.
Now they know who they had criticized,
The time they had wasted, they'll pay their price.
But now I'm free from that all,
Stood up again as the success called.
A message I convey to all of you,
The small, the tiny and all those who
Tried to pull me back, prove me wrong,
Thank you for making me even more strong.
