Who said only boys fall in love first... Who said that only boys can be true and committed in a relationship...
Every book/movie you read tells the story like:
> A boy falls for a girl, he woos her , she falls for him , happily ever after.
> A boy falls for a girl, she falls for him, convince family, happily ever after.
> A boy falls for a girl, she falls for him, they break up [ Family, friend etc...] , cry for a few days , happily ever after.
But what happens when a girl falls for a boy and he never reciprocates it. No one give a damn about it, but why ? Almost all romantic movies have the character of the girl, who falls for the hero but he never reciprocates it and she becomes the helping hand to woo the heroine / the bad girl who tries to separate them. Or the boy treats her like a piece of dirt.
Falling in love is easy but staying in love with a guy who barely cares for you is a feat , and that too for four years is a huge feat. I know how that feels. For those who ask me , " Why don't you move on? " , moving on is not as easy as it seems and I guess love is all about giving and not expecting.
The climax of this relationship [You-know-I-love-you-but-act-like-am-your-friend-just-to-increase-your-reputation-among-friends-showcasing-me-as-a-badge kind ] is when he falls for another girl. He treats you like you are some kind of slut [mind the cuss], and he has fallen in love with an angel [minus wings]... This stage is followed by varied emotions : anger, disappointment , frustration and depression. But the last stage is understanding. The maturity to give up, the maturity to remain the loser in the love triangle, the maturity to put his happiness before mine......
