Maybe I was too naive, when I thought he could ever love me, or like me...or even know about me. I would be fine with just one look. One look is all I need to be happy tonight. But I guess tonight is not the night. I was sitting on the couch, in room full of people, color lights, red cups and music, and all I could think about was- he's standing right there. I was watching him across the whole room...so pretty. It was like his shiny chestnut hair, blue eyes and perfect smile were the only things in this room. I was staring at him for so long I haven't noticed I slightly opened my mouth.
Suddenly he looked at me. Yeah, I'm not kidding. Nathan Green was looking at me with his big blue eyes, and than he smiled at me. Aww, so that's how it looks in reality. After that someone tapped me on the shoulder. I turned my head and it was my best friend Veronica. She looks really pretty tonight, suddenly crossed my mind. Her short, blond hair perfectly highlighted the contours of her face- tiny nose, heart-shaped red lips and green eyes. She was wearing those wine dress I picked her last week at mall, and next to her I looked like some little Glum.
''Do you have open mouth night or something? Why don't you just talk to him. It's not that hard.'' she said. ''Oh but yeah, it's hard, because, if you haven't noticed yet, I still haven't moved from THIS place. Plus I don't think I could talk to him without embarrassing myself, which is sort of not what I want.'' She gave me that Veronica look and told me: '' Well you can't date him without talking to him... .'' Ooh. Tucker, another friend, was here. And he looked well-drunk. ''Yeah girl. She's right. I've tried it once, but it didn't go so well. I woke up one day and he was yelling at me like: We need to brake up! I'm the only one present in this relationship!...and bla bla bla.'' He giggled and looked at me: ''We need to get you a drink Melissa! Why do you sit here like pile of misery?! Get up, cause we are going to PARTYYY!'' He shouted so much I had to laugh to him. Veronica and Tucker took my arms and led me to the dance floor.
