So, some pretty scary stuff has happened to me during my life but it really doesn’t count if I was asleep. The thing about this time was that I can guarantee 100% that I was awake. It was probably 10 pm and I had trouble conciliating sleep, so I was just killing time; checking tumblr, biting my nails, dancing around, looking at myself in the mirror, whatever… Anyhow, I decided that I really needed sleep so I decided to take two Tylenol p.m.’s because that usually knocks me out. 15 minutes later I wasn’t even sleepy so I took two or who knows how many more. I headed to my mom’s bed and tried to sleep. I couldn’t. I started playing with my phone under the covers until the covers were smothering my face. I took my face out to get some air and I see my mom’s face, sleeping so peacefully, and then I see a thin silver string, hanging from the roof. I was thinking to myself, what in god’s name is this, so I take my phone out to illuminate that weird thing and BAAMMMM! FOUR FREACKING SPIDERS OUT OF NOWHERE! They start crawling up towards the ceiling as I scream louder than I ever had in my life. “Mom!! Spiders! There are spiders in front of your face!!!” She wakes up and I turn the lights on. I look back and there was nothing, absolutely nothing. She just stared at me giving me a cold look saying “Joelle, there are no spiders, go to sleep”. I immediately got the hell out of her room heading to my sister’s bed. I was freaked put but I tried to get some sleep. You should know that there’s a huge painting next to my sister’s bed right in front of my face so I was just staring at it, trying to calm down, when suddenly more spiders than I can count with my fingers (including the ones on my feet) start crawling behind the painting. I start punching the wall as hard as I can and they disappear making me look like a fucking weirdo. I turn on the lights. Nothing, nothing was there. As you can probably deduce I didn’t sleep that night. I kept seeing spiders everywhere but I wasn’t even shocked. Until this very moment I have no idea what the hell was that.
