"in the midst of this journey of life, love gives you a fairy tale" saw this somewhere on facebook, beautiful lines aren't they? but do they really hold good or are they subjective like every other psychological thing in this world, the good for some is bad for other, the unseasonal rains we love are loathed by the farmers whose crops are destroyed by it, in the same way I guess is life every body is fighting his own battles and considering himself more miserable than the other.
Well getting back to the quote we started with, does life really give you a fairytale in the form of love? well let me share two scenarios first is a girl living away from home working hard towards achieving something in life, in all this she meets a man both fall in love, life turns blissful, happiness all around, though they have their shares of ups and downs in their relationship, now 3 years down the line even though from different castes they are accepted by families from both sides and are happily engaged soon to be married.....Pure bliss isn't it ? now there is this other scenario another girl she too lives away from home, has a friend with whom she shares things knows him from a long time he gets engaged and unknowingly they both fall in love, love as it is, is heaven for them too the only catch being they cant get married, he is engaged there are families and a life involved, but their love is a fairytale for them only that in the end the prince and the princess are not physically together but their hearts remain with each other.
Its hard to fathom what truly is the meaning of a fairy tale in context of love surely getting married and spending your entire lives together as a man and wife, sharing the same space, building kids and families together, being by the side of each other come what may is happiness, but their is another kind of happiness, the happiness of having someone you love, love you the same way back, its like a craving you both share together, the passion the excitement, yet the distance the inevitable separation you face everytime you leave each other though heartbreaking its also in a way conveying that love stands strong whatever be the circumstances.
Happiness is a very subjective thing when it comes to love, in one case the lovers cannot stand their partners let alone touching even looking at someone else, and then there are situations when your own partner wants you to get married to another person just because he believes you deserve all the happiness and respect that a wife deserves, though heart wrenching but this is the purest sense of love, when a person is sacrificing the one most important aspect of a relationship, exclusivity for the well being of the other.
