Made her numb to the pain.

You injected toxic words
Into her mind and heart, it broke her.
Because, even after all that,
She still loves you

Each time, you convinced her
She was unworthy

she confined the insecurity, somewhere within

Screams of pain, cries of help
Were unheard by people around.
Yet she heard herself,
Even with her deafening shouts echoing simultaneously, so clearly inside.

She endured.
