High School

Info

I really liked a poem written by a high school student in one of my favorite movies, entitled School. It said that his school is filled with rats and dwarfs and one single angel.
That's not how it is with my school, though... My school is filled with giants, rather than dwarfs and cheap, slutty copies of poster girls. There are also way too many bibliophiles and science geeks with hair like Peter Pan's.

A lot lot of devils are walking through the school hallways. Some wear a mask of the popular girls, wearing dresses with the lower hem ending in the middle of their a** and some hide in spirits of the 'friendly' people or your so-called friends.

I don't see any angels, though... Not one. At least not in my school. Whenever I step outside, I see many angels. Faces so beautiful and friendly, they make your day better instantly. They make you realize that the world is not so ugly.

I'm none of the creatures named above. I think of myself as a ghost. People never notice I'm standing beside them, they bump into me all the time and not once I heard an apology. Not even when I lost balance, and if it wasn't for a wall I was passing by, I'd fall on my face.
Strangly enough, I don't mind it. I always wanted to be able to be invisible. Maybe I do have the ability after all, I just haven't figured out, why, of all people at the school, the powers don't fool my teachers. To them I'm most likely something like the only light in a room full of shadows. How else would they ask only me questions, even though I don't hide, how lost I'm getting in the subject they teach...?

To me, high school is just something to graduate from, so you could finally start studying and doing something you really want and believe in.

School's inevedible, but that's not a reason to like it or not complain about it anywhere you go. That's my motto. But I don't recommend to go by it, if you don't wanna end up annoyed and annoying like me.
