How Can She Fall?

No Boyfriend Since Birth. That's how she defines herself. She's a college graduate, a degree holder. She's on her early 20's and still marked as NBSB.

All the people around her knows that -- friends, relatives, neighbors, peers, and all other people who became part of her life.  Don't get her wrong. She's not lonely for being NBSB. She's happy because she's so much loved.

So here's the thing. People thinks she is too choosy, that she's looking for a perfect guy that is so impossible to exist that caused her singlehood. But she knows to herself, she's not and she's 100% sure of that. Then, she tries to understand the real reason behind.

Upon assessing herself, she realised one of the greatest reasons is because of her friends. Yes, she has a lot of  sweet guy friends and it's clear to her that they're  doing all this nice and sweet stuffs purely out of friendship. Well, she treats them as a brother too.

They are nice, respectful, kind. They have no bad vices. They're her protectors - her knights in shining armor. They know her likes and dislikes and they respect it. They know what she fears and they're always there to be her shield. They know her weakness and they come to rescue. They know her flaws and they're so patient of her. They just listen when she's angry. She can confidently be herself because she knows they're real. They understand how her family treats her as the youngest in her family. In effect, they know her limits. They know the things she's not allowed to do so they adjust for her. In layman's term, they spoil her too much with how they treat her. They listen when she speaks. They break their rules for her.

With all these treatments she had for friendship's sake, she had set a higher standard for love.  In effect, she hardly appreciates a man's effort of proving his love for her. Because she already experienced those usual gestures in showing love, she hardly differentiate if the man is really in love with or just feeling some bond of friendship.  She wants something new  in expressing love for her. Something that her friends have never done yet. Maybe, that will give butterflies in her stomach. Maybe, that's how she can fall.

She's not choosy. She's just being careful!
