Who Are You?

When I stare, she stares. When I speak, she speaks. When I pout, she pouts, when I walk away, she walks away. Everything I do, she does.

She has no originality. All she does is copy what I do and I can see, she's so determined to be that way. Is she contented just copying? Is she not guilty of what she's doing? Is she couldn't just live her life on her own? I took a deep breath to gather up all my courage to confront her this time.

"Who are you?", I asked while staring at her. I remember how people are so pleased to see her outlook, the way she maintains her posture by her wear. She just stared at me and  didn't give any response to the question.

" Who are you, really?" I once again asked while remembering the way she smiles and socialize with people just to try to please everybody. Still, I waited no response.

This time, I stared at her while she's staring back at me. Tears fell from my eyes when I realised I know who she is.

She is my reflection! The reflection who's the only one who can accept who I am based on how I accept myself. She's me. The one people sees.

Upon checking out, I realised I'm starting to doubt myself that's why I'm asking those questions. I realised I'm starting to see like how those doubtful and judgemental people sees other because they thought what they think is always the standard.

I took a smile and started to answer the question.

"Who am I? I am a child of God. Created strong, brave, faithful. In this life, I have purpose no matter how the world will try to push and pull me, or distract me from arriving on my wonderful future. People's opinion will try to make me forget who I really am but I will keep fighting and believing to myself. I am created to victor. And how I know myself is what matters."
