Once upon a time, there's a lonely girl in a lonely planet. She spent her time reading and writing everything about her world and herself in her book entitled' LONELINESS '. It's a thick book covered with grayish glossy paper—the only paper color found in her world.
To ease boredom, she begins to paint rainbows. Instead of different colors, it's shaded in black, white and gray. For that was the color present in her world.
Her world isn't oblate spheroid, it's a box without any window or door for her to breathe. She used to it but she can't find satisfaction. Until one day, she wanted to get out of the box. She wonders what's happening outside her world—the vast universe.
The lonely girl saw different colors. She began to wonder what's the colorful arch named after.
Is it named after the god of war?
Is it named after death?
She's silently wondering until someone came along and laugh in her innocence.
"You didn't know?" The boy asked.
"Excuse me, I'm not talking to you." The girl answered to the eavesdropper.
"No, you are. You're talking to me every day. You see the sun?" The stranger points her right hand to the east. She saw a hot burning yellowish thing up there.
"There's no sun in my planet?"
He laughs.
"I know you'll say that but sun is everywhere. When there is sun, there is light. I think you forget to look above to see how bright it is." She frowned as the stranger walk beside her and tap her shoulder.
"You're being blinded because you're imagining things. You forget those real things." He added.
The boastful girl rolled her eyes because she has convictions of everything. She believes she's perfect.
"Stop lecturing me as if you know everything!"
"I might not know everything but I admitted it, do you?" His words begun to irritate her.
There's something in his words which creates a hole in her perceptions. He's ruining her walls and she wouldn't allow him.
"I do!" She lied.
She begun to realize that she isn't perfect.
The boy observed how the stubborn girl look at the arch with appreciation and adoration.
"Is it beautiful?" He asked her looking at her lifeless eyes.
She can't find words to define her feelings so she just nodded with his question.
"That's a rainbow."
"Rai.... What?!" Due to howling wind, she's mishearing it.
"Rainbow." Rainbow like the one she drew in her planet? His answer pique her interest. "That thing is a rainbow. It's a sign of peace between heaven and earth. " The stranger continued his statement.
"Peace? What is that?" The amused face of the girl turned into curiosity.
"Peace is universal communication between you and other entities."
She never wonder she didn't know it. How could she knows if she's always inside her box planet?
There's a question which bothers her.
"How's rainbow created?"
"When peace is present and you begin to seek it into yourself. Just open yourself and you'll witness how rainbows are being created. "
Another question came up within her.
"Who are you?" He didn't answer it. He vanished.
Again, she started staring the rainbow.
