On the net you have access to a very large number of customers, which means that you have to choose your target audience more accurately. You should be familiar with the type of customers you are selling, and know for sure why they will be interested in the benefits of the product you offer.
You should also give sufficient information about the product, because customers looking for something on the Internet will opt for the company that best meets their needs.
If your business is selling, then you should know your customers well. However, for successful online sales, you must select a specific target group.
Consider how you can divide into segments and highlight the target group of network buyers. For example, you can highlight it by age or by geographic region, or by both of these criteria. Remember, you must start selling on the web from a specific target audience (here we are not talking about all your customers, only about those you want to get through the web).
As an example, let's take Bazaraki cars services. They want to expand their online sales. Realizing that young people are more likely to buy something online, you choose them. Now you need to do a very good research on your targeted audience.
You need to know what benefits your product offers to your target customers. Make a list of its merits, and then list them in order of importance, and then remove those that are contradictory or make other expressions less expressive. In other words, if you are selling the cheapest, it is not worth mentioning that it is also of the highest quality, because this may raise doubts with the buyer. Make sure that you sell only one thing and that now you know exactly all about its benefits, and you are ready to go to the web page.
Select products for sale on the web, i.e. those that are best suited for this. Many products do not sell well on the Internet, but others are snapping up like hotcakes. Take into account other factors besides the price of sending, and remember about the target audience, which we mentioned about above. There is no point in trying to place children's shoes on the main page of the site, only because it is the easiest, if the chosen target audience (to which the advertisement is directed) are teenagers.
Dedicate a separate page to each product advantage and allocate additional pages for other information, for example, a page for collecting email addresses. Make sure each page serves one specific purpose.
Simplicity should permeate the entire document. Make sure that the buyer will not be puzzled by anything, that you are always no more than a click away from the main page. Leave the navigation in the same place on all pages.
Place on each page any "decorations" that match your target group. But do not post on bright graphics on the periphery and blinking images, it will distract attention from the content of the page itself. Plus, you can be penalized by Google's assessors.
Remember that each page has its own special purpose, usually this goal is to emphasize a value of the product. Try to place goods on the main page, rather than bright graphics, and in any case do not allow the main page to have only graphics. The text on the main page is the most important in the whole site. The first paragraph should attract attention and clearly explain the advantages of your product in order to keep the attention of a non-permanent visitor.
You knew that in the end we would come to that. Make sure your product can be well seen in the pictures. Make sure you have images of all your products, that they are professional and present the products in the best possible way. For buyers to part with their money, they must be able to see what they are buying.
Divide your products into groups of customers and according to the advantages they offer. Products in the area of interest of the two groups can be included twice. Special offers may remain in all groups or be allocated to a special group in which they will be presented. This is called Segmentation.
If you cannot place your products on the main page, their high-quality images should be presented immediately upon entering the “goods” section, which, as we already know, is not more than a click away from the main page.
When goods are presented, they should be well depicted and the pictures should become bigger when you click on them. The more expensive the product, the more images, and even the video should be present as well. Remember that if you were going to part with a large amount of money on the Internet, you would like to be sure that the product not only matches the description, but also has good visuals.
Work with your website and let it work for you, not against you. It sounds weird, but how many times you closed the page of the company that interested you, just because it was so poorly designed that you were lost and disappointed.
Often sites are simply ignored. They are very good when they are launched, but not when within two years the visitor sees the same ads and product images that are not updated. Buyers immediately notice this lack of service, and conclude that it applies to all areas of your business, and in that case, why would they need such a seller. If you imagine last year’s models, you will be treated accordingly as last year’s company. In this case, it is better not to have a website at all.
The fact is that the most powerful, fantastic and invaluable source of marketing information about what your customers specifically want, which is available on your website, is ignored by most companies. Information on which keywords buyers find your site is the most important information to highlight in your marketing course. Your web site can be divided into pages that are organized by product type.
Statistics can show you which ones are the most popular and which do not attract attention at all. This information is gold dust, and having learned to work with it, you can present on your pages products that you want to inform.
You can also collect information about many of your key customers by simply offering them free registration, rewards for completing questionnaires, better conditions and more information. As soon as they register on your site, you will receive their email addresses. As soon as you have a list of addresses, you can send letters to buyers who are actually buyers, and not just people to whom you would like to offer your services, and this increases by 10% the likelihood of an answer to your letters.
And not only that, if you offer your customers a product that targets them and is of interest to them, they will most likely come to you again, rather than buy from your competitors.
