How You Got Your Happily Ever After

"JUST TAKE MY HAND!"

I hesitate as I reach out to you.

Memories flash my mind: 

How we met;

how you told me "I saw stars and the universe in your eyes"; 

how you held my hand and said "You are the best thing that has ever happened to me";

how you hugged me so tight our hearts beat as one; 

how you kissed me that we breathed the same air; 

then she appeared. 

What once was the stars and universe slowly became dark clouds and thunders in my eyes;

 what once was the best thing slowly became the second best; 

what once was beating as one slowly beating separately; 

what once was the same air breathed now poison and cure, me slowly gasping and you sighing, unloving me.

And now here on the cliff, I cling to a soulless branch for my dear life reaching out to you, my only hope of salvation.

She appears by your side and shouts "HURRY!"

A thunder cracks in the sky then I see in her eyes, 

'NO, HE'S MINE! HE'S MINE! JUST DIE, OH PLEASE, JUST DIE!'

Another thunder cracks. Startled, I loosened my grip and fell down. 

Down into my death.

Funny I can still see relief in her eyes and sorrow in your eyes even how fast I am now falling into the deep black abyss.

I closed my eyes with a small smile on my mouth.

'That's it. Mourn for me. Mourn for me because I'm the lover that turned into a witch in your love story that has to die for your happily ever after.'
