I held you.

I held you loose,

So you let go, of me, our memories

The very ones you said you'd cherished.

I held you loose,

And you left me, broken

In pieces that can never join.

I held you loose,

To see what will be the outcome,

Not expecting such a change.

I held you loose,

To see you becoming someone else's grip,

Someone else holding you.

I held you loose,

So you understand what it means to love,

To realize and love me back.

I held you loose,

And now I regret because

I should've hold you tight,

Tight enough that you know my feelings,

Which have now surpassed sanity.

I'll hold you tight,

In my arms that you will break down,

I'm holding you tight,

To make sure you now know what it means

When love reaches insanity and I become I.
