I left home, I left you behind.

The day I started understanding my little world is the day I started hating it. The amount of love i imagined I had was just an illusion and the truth was hiden by these long and cold walls.

A married couple admitting after many years that they did a great mistake, it wasn't the right choice. But isn't it too late? Those kids knew everything but couldn't stop thinking that their parents are in a lifetime love. That little girl who has been reading fairy tales and dreaming of a prince charming giving her the world in the palm of her hand couldn't accept the idea : Love is an illusion.

I always wonder why parents ignore their children's feelings and think they will make them understand. A child never understands why he had to live in a different way than his "normal" friends. They all have their parents, living together, sharing love and kindness like in the movies and it seems so easy to accomplish. So WHY? Why being different?! Why watching fights all the time of a couple hating each other, insulting each other and wishing to go back in time to fix a MISTAKE!

Oh! that's what they call their child? a Mistake? Then the little kid starts thinking and trying to find a solution to what seems to be his fault. He stops being a child, seeing the right of enjoying childhood as a forbiden thing. He starts considering himself the unwanted thing in the "used-to-be-happy-life" of his supposed to be "parents".

Parents is supposed to mean love, care, kindness, acceptance, generosity. If they can't give what they're supposed to, how can they ask for these things in return from their grown child?
