I live in pieces

Once more came my morning, laughing at me,

It was not all what meant to be,

It tied my mind , so couldn't get free,

The empty cup, the pouring tea.

Once more laughed the burning Sun,

The heated roads, men on run,

The hailing wind, dusting dreams,

The beggar, the shops, the chimney steams.

Once more I heard you call my name,

It meant nothing, that's our game,

Fragile wishes, hidden deep,

The letters you left, I refused to keep.

Once more you made my day,

Once more you made my rain,

Lost in reverie of unconditional promises,

I missed you , then and again.

Once more my evening walk,

Colorful darkness, hand in hand,

Once more the chirping birds,

Made my way to our land.

Once more my friend, my night,

Snow lit candles, shadowed light,

I know you, my darkness dear,

I no more weep, I no more fear.
