I'm Enough

There are so many status on Instagram, Twitter,  and Facebook,
Saying "I'll never be enough for her/him",
Is it because of the way they look?
Or is it because, in his/her standards,  they're  an antonym?

Try to look at yourselves in the mirror,
Try to make a wide smile or a fierce face,
Whisper at your reflection, "You are a warrior".
Fighting for the wrong person is a disgrace,
But we still fight, our poor sanity,  we misplace.

Yes, we can love,  the right ones or the wrong ones,
We just don't care,  but sometimes we care too much,
And pain sometimes starts there,
When the realization hits us we forgot our worth,
And we dare to say, "I'll never be enough. "

Here I am now,  storytelling,
I once look at the mirror while crying,
There's so much agony inside of me so I spit out those words,
And with wide eyes open, everything went black and dying,
From a colorful and lively world.

That time,  I watched myself fall in front of me,
And I don't want that to happen again,
So I made a promise to myself sincerely,
That I'll love myself like how I love him.

One by one,  I started to pick up the pieces I've scattered,
While telling myself, "Your worth is priceless, stop chasing the wrong person. You are more than enough. Be a right person for yourself. "

My storytelling ends here,  it's not a very happy ending,
But an ending that I deserve, the ending I think we should deserve.

And when you post on Instagram, Twitter,  or Facebook,
Wear that big smile or fierce face like a new look,
And type on your status:

"I'm Enough"

And when you go outside, Still,
Wear that big smile and fierce face of yours,
And say to yourself proudly:

"I'm enough"

Because that's what you deserve.
