My grief was ne'er brief
Your grief was like a lost thief
Once I craved your body
Now I crave nobody
You were long gone
I was long 'no one'
I found you missin'
You ne'er found me searchin'
I found myself lovin'
You found yourself leavin'
I waited a little more
You wanted more
I wasted time
You warned time
My thought o' you ne'er weakened nor weathered
Your thought o' me already wintered and withered
I wondered where you wandered
You ne'er pondered what I tendered
I no longer yearned
You no longer learned
I didn't have to suffer
You didn't have to buffer
I no longer longed
You were no longer wronged
Temperature ne'er rose
Sparks fly ne'er came close
Attraction ne'er electrified
Chemistry ne'er identified
Now we both ne'er crave
We have to save
We're finally together
Finally away from forever
For our lives aren't just engraved,
They're also graved...
Now we both crave our grave
Goodbyes are in a wave
You and I may not be paramours
But we're still neighbors
Our bodies already have their closest distance
Our remnants will forever remember their resistance
Our resonance will have its resemblance
Our significance will forever be a circumstance...
