I painted you my colors...
Gave you my brightest red.
I offered you my whole heart,
And left me but half dead.
Then I showed you some orange,
To show what happy means.
Even tried to fake realities,
But you cared less ever since.
I've been my sweetest coz of you,
Bright and yellow as the sun.
But you think of it as blinding,
Just a temporary fun.
I walked you then through peace,
In my field of such greenery,
Yet you deemed it as chaotic,
My silence seen as misery.
I shared with you my dreams,
Vast plans of brilliant blue.
Yet you led me in a freefall,
Your foolish plan, I later knew.
I kept my tears of indigos,
And bottled up my darker hues,
You pluck my blooms of violets.
To offer for a different muse.
I've been at fault to wish maybe,
That you'll see me from within,
But truth perhaps, reminds me,
I’m a rainbow that’s UNSEEN.
