It just happened....

Weird!!!

Isn't it???

You sit down quiet and calm and start to think deeply to come up with an idea so that you could frame up your mind, your vocabulary, your knowledge, your story.

You sit for seconds, minutes and then hours. You start with a word but then suddenly.......No it’s not good....

I should start with something else. Something that would attract my readers.

Something that would urge them to read the entire story and not just the abstract...

Paper torn.....Let me start afresh.

Again paper torn....

Paper after paper occupies every inch of your dustbin but no correct sense of words fit into your mind. How irritating that could be!!!

Had the idea been of a true experience, it would not have cost that much.

No summarizing, no framing, no editing and moreover no wastage of paper!!!

True experiences do not require the mind to work. They only need the soul to personify them, the pen to describe them, the heart to feel them, the sensitivity to judge them, the passion to understand them.

But then writing a true experience!!!

Is it really easy???

Well....it could be easy in some terms....as it does not need imagination. It just needs brushing up of memories.

Old memories are fun when recalled. It can recharge your mood within no span of time and bring a lovely smile on your face. Some memories are a disaster when they come across your mind. They bring sorrows along with them. They can devastate your mood.

But then experiences build a stronger you!!!

One fine morning I was supposed to drop my brother at the examination center at about nine o’ clk. I am an early riser but that particular day I got up at eight o’ clk. Lord! Wonder, why!!!

To avoid my mother’s scolding, I finished my chores at a terrible speed. Hurrying my way to the garage, I hurt my toes at the entrance door. My dearest little finger’s nail broke off.

A Bad Morning!!! A Real Bad Morning!!!

My nail.....Oh no!!!

Somehow I drove my scooty like a mad fellow and reached the examination center. My brother was constantly yelling at bit for getting late.

On reaching the center we heard the gate keeper shouting, “you need to have a Xerox copy of your admit card as you will leave it with the invigilator”.

Crap man!!!

My brother did not have the slightest idea about it and thus we went to search for a Xerox shop. Where in our country does a shop open as early as nine o’clk???

A Bad Morning!!! A Real Bad Morning!!!

Not a single Xerox shop that we came across was opened. Roaming around lane after lane, we reached a colony. We found a mosque. I slowed down the scooty and we both prayed.

“Oh God!!! Save us please”!!!

Turning to the next lane, I saw a man dressed in white kurta pyjama opening a Xerox shop.

“Bhaiya” please Xerox this paper. Quick please...

“Sister” just a second...

Thank you Bhaiya....Thank you so much...

Within a second tears flowed out my eyes... Thank God!! Humanity still existed. No war, no treaty, no sin can separate the feeling of brotherhood and mankind that exists among the religion of the world.

After leaving my brother at the center, I called my Sir. I had to collect an important paper from him. He asked me to be at the college within half an hour. When I met him at the college, he was in a great hurry. He handed the paper to me and said, “I have lost my phone somewhere. I need to rush to the police station to file a complaint.”

“Okay Sir.”

A Bad Morning!!! A Real Bad Morning!!!

An hour after.....

“Tring”.... “Tring”....

“Hello......Sir you found you phone?”

“Madam Ji....this phone was lying in my auto rickshaw’s back seat. The last received number was yours. So I called you. Please come and take it. I am near the church in Old Town Residential Colony.

Thank you Bhaiya....Thank you so much...

I’ll be there in fifteen minutes.

How happy my Sir was when he got his “Micromax Canvas” back!!!

In the evening....

My little cousin sister came running to me.

“Didi, see my new nail paint. Isn’t the colour pretty?”

It really was a cute colour. I suddenly remembered that I had broken my little finger’s nail. I showed my toe to her.

“It’s okay Didi. Let your nail grow. I will wait for you. We will put the nail polish together.”

I just nodded my head.......

She is such an adorable kid....

Well it wasn’t such A Bad Morning..........it just happened like that!!!
