PART-2 THE BEGINNING
December 6,1992
At 1:57 PM, I cried for the very first time. And by 2 o' clock, the whole nation joined me... As the disputed mosque of Ayodhya, Babri Masjid or Masjid-i-Janamsthan was attacked and demolished by the Hindu nationalist groups, that triggered riots all over the country, killing more than 2000 people in a single day.
Rizwan Ansari, as my name says it all. So being born in a Muslim family in those circumstances was not an occasion to celebrate but to bemoan.
My parents moved from Kanpur to Delhi as they were afraid of the storm, causing destruction in whole Uttar Pradesh. It was all over the news about the riots in various parts of the country and Large number of people are dying every passing day.
In Delhi, we stayed at my uncle's house in Karol bagh. He has a trading business of hardware accessories in Jahangirpura. My father joined him in his business and since then we never looked back in the past.
Today it's been 18 years since that incident and we are here in Delhi, successfully running our business and living a good and peaceful life.
Hence you can imagine me as a typical Delhi guy, who never goes out of their house without a bike even if they have to go just 200 meters away to carry 1kg milk packet, driving in a car with friends on catchy Punjabi songs and swearing at every single person who comes in our way. In actuality we can't complete even a single sentence without abusing. Apart from all these, non- vegetarian food and fitness cautiousness are my things. Calling me a gym freak would not be wrong because I am one and you can tell that by looking at my well built physique.
My whole life revolves around my friends and gym none other than that, until I decided to pursue engineering as a career, after opt-in for Non medical stream in the eleventh standard. So just like every other engineering pursuer in the country, I also gave JEE-Main and AIEEE entrance test and most surprising thing is that I cleared it with 15000 AIR. And with that my career as an engineer began at NIT, Kurukshetra.
NIT, Kurukshetra...
It all began with this place, this is where I first met Akash and Danish…
