"Look at that Lady. She looks so Elegant in that Saree. So beautiful I can say...", Nihal said to his wife who was sitting next to him in the Wedding still looking at that Lady. Instantly angry for his flattery and attention towards another lady, Sneha just got up and walked away from the hall to the entrance like it's her right to do so as a Wife. Not knowing the reason for her anger, he followed her to the entrance of the hall like always. Sneha & Nihal had recently celebrated their 4th Wedding Anniversary.
"Hey Sneha, what happened? Why did you walk back? It's so crowded in there. We lost our seat to someone else.", Nihal said. "Shut up. You are more concerned about that seat when I am angry on you." she said. "Angry? Why? What happened?" he asked her. His mind started thinking as to what did he do today which made her get angry on him. "I love that add in TV which says 'Men will be Men'. It's so apt. You have your wife sitting next to you wearing a gorgeous Saree that you gifted & you did not even care to tell me how do I look. Suddenly you look at another lady in the Wedding & start praising her for her beauty and elegance. How dare you do that in front of your own wife? Go marry her... If you want I will only ask her... ", Sneha vents out her anger.
He starts laughing really hard on seeing how cute his possessive wife can get when she says something like this. Nihal stops laughing and asks her, "Be happy that I am telling it in front of you. By the way, you tell me frankly Is she not beautiful?" Sneha looks at her and sheepishly admits, "She is beautiful... But not as much as you praised her. I have got so many compliments from morning from so many people except my own husband. Why do all husbands feel all other women in this world are beautiful except their own wife?" She now asks him in a demanding tone of a Boss.
He smiles, holds her hand and takes her to the corner where the noise was lesser & replies, "My dear lovely wife, I admit she is beautiful & elegant but she is not the one I would want to walk my Life with. It's definitely YOU... It is you who would be the first person in this World whom I would want to share my happiness or grief with. She would not be the one whom I want to share every details of my childhood & upbringing. She would not be the one with whom I could show the Child I am at heart. She would not be the one with whom I would wanna share my deepest fears in Life."
She was looking deep in his eyes & he continued, "It's with you whom I want to share my EMI's & build a Family. It's only your face that I wish to see when I wake up at 3 AM early morning. It is your hair I would want to play around with when you are sleeping on my lap. It is only about you and our Life together that I think of when I am alone riding my car. It is with you whom I want to wake up with every morning till the last day of my Life. So, it's always YOU my Love... She is just a beautiful lady & maybe someone else's Dream just like you are MINE."
She was floored and her eyes gave it away. She just smiled and held his arms like it is her best possession. "Convinced?", Nihal asked. "That was cho chweeeeet. Such a romantic husband. I am fully convinced now.", she replied back. "Thank God. All my cheesy lines from college days just worked", he winked. "Eh?? All your cheesy lines are reserved exclusively for me. By the way I know they weren't cheesy pick up lines. It came straight from my lovely husband's heart", Sneha said and pulled his cheeks.
Nihal smiled & they started walking towards the hall again. He thought about something and stopped her and said, "By the way, I wanted to tell you that you look very cute when you become possessive about me." She blushed & said, "Oh yeah? By the way even after telling you so many times, you dint tell me how do I look in this Saree. I am angry again & I wanna fight with you now", she winked. "Hahaha. Come let's go to that corner. Till then I will think about my next cheesy lines...", he said & they both laughed.
As the Bride & Bridegroom were all set to start their new Life inside the hall by walking the seven steps, there was Sneha and Nihal outside the hall walking their walk of life together for an eternity....
