Just Another Poem You Won't Read

This
can probably be the
loneliest poem ever written.
This is just like a secret which will never be spoken,
just another option that will never be chosen,
like a dream come true that will never happen.

Maybe, we are this poem
--a poem left unread.
We are beautiful and full of potential,
yet left unappreciated.
We've got colorful imaginations, we've got a lot to be said.
But unless we are read, we'll stay underrated.

I wrote this poem because I couldn't write you a letter.
Well, compared to letters, I believe poems are way better.
I wrote this poem to let you know you are a great encounter.
Thank you for your ears, your eyes, your lips,
I thank you for the laughter.

I thank you for the memories, I thank you for the happy thoughts.
When I was sad, and blue, you were there for late night talks.
Lately you were the one that keeps my company the most.
I wish you nothing but success, in life, I wish you don't get lost.

I hate goodbyes, so I'll call it a "see you later"
For a long time maybe, we won't see each other.
But even a long time doesn't mean forever.
When we meet again, let's make the most out of life together.
