Just Some Motivation from My Life!

You know there can be times when you feel like giving up and seem to have lost hope. Don't worry! That happens! It's very normal for anyone to feel this way...I'll tell you my story, maybe it would help you understand some really important mantras of life!
I'm a 17 year old Class 12 student, a young adult who aims to become a Child Psychologist in future. I was always an optimistic person but it turned out to be very challenging for me to uphold this title. I started feeling the pressure from Class 11. I became the Head Girl (School Prefect) of the Student Council in my school. All of a sudden everyone started looking up to me. They wanted to become like me! They asked me the ways to achieve what I did. A strange feeling of expectations built up on me that I had to fulfil. I never knew this would happen.
Jumping on to class 12, I realised that I had become a role model for many of my Juniors. They gave me such kind of status which was always a dream for me. I became their wanna be person. I sometimes think "What did I do to get such kind of respect?" "Am I capable enough to get this pedestal?" My friends keep on telling me that I deserve more than what I think.
My mum told me a very important thing when I was in class 9 and had a terrible break-up with my boyfriend. She said, "No-one is Permanent. Don't get yourself too much attached to a person. People always leave." These words still are engraved inside my heart. When my lovely junior asked for advices on Instagram, I told her the same thing as my mum made me understand. My junior said, "I'll have to remember this advice for a lifetime, I needed this." I felt so happy to help her. When I see people smile because of me, I feel happy! Life is not so bad you see....it just needs a tinge of your style and your perspective!
I am 17, soon will be 18, an Adult. I don't know if I'll be fine in the college but I know one thing for sure, NO-ONE HAS THE AUDACITY TO BRING ME DOWN. I always tell the people who ask me for advices that, "Seek Nothing Less than Perfection". This is MY MANTRA of LIFE!
