I watch the fire as it dances in a metal barrel,
My heart aches as it burns,
But its heat gives my soul the warmth I've been longing for.
I watch it move as the wind directs.
Though destructive, cataclysmic
But smooth, graceful.
The flame sways in glee
As I throw these last pieces I've been holding on for so long.
Pictures, pain, love, hatred, and hopes.
I stared as it burns,
I stood with my heart burnt.
But this will be the last time.
This is the last time.
