Launchora - A Tribute

Info

It was a stressful day, deciding heavy stuffs of life, I became absolutely tired and bored. Well it was then that I though to check this new found website 'launchora' once for a change. And boy, did I got a change. Facebook really did something useful, (besides killing my internet memory. ARGG... BSNL!!).

Briefly this article is definitely to thank Launchora. To say it in a casual way, you did saved my ICSE English Paper. But being a bit more chivalrous, lets say, it saved me from my loneliness, brought me to the world of imagination, and gave me the readers I needed.

So this one's for you, in respect of you and your best authors: A quick description of 4 of my best read stories from the genre ----

"Mystery/Thriller"

There is something is this genre, you know, like, whenever I read some stories from this one, I just can't stop in between. Its one of my all time favorites and I will suggest you all to take a look at the stories in there, like come on, be a bit more than just love and romance, this is the genre that need your attention.

Story Title - CIRCLE
Author - Sharad Shrivastava
Story Pagehttps://www.launchora.com/story/circle

A story which has tremendous, twists and a beautiful message, Circle has its plot over the most common story of a bully and a victim, eventually taking the most unexpected turn. Not only a successful goosebumps producer but with a strong and connected environment this story is definitely an unforgettable experience for the reader. Written in the style simple and short, not to unfold the plot too much at the beginning, with only the last two paragraph making sense of the title, this is a compact story with a mind blowing concept.

Story Title - Empty Souls
Author - Julia Bilibio
Story Page - https://www.launchora.com/story/empty-souls

This one is for those who love dark spirits, possession, mansions and puzzles. The writer Julia Bilibio has cunningly mixed puzzles and deaths together creating darkness in the plot. The story goes as a detective Burke investigates the death of 20 people and their connection with Alice who is now in an asylum. The very base of this story lies in the fact that its a pure horror, as well as the writer's power to differentiate and show the readers the different situations. (Like, come on, not everything needs to be scary!) More than that, I think, this is a story that should fall on the category of the traditional horrors, with the environment and the situations creating the effect rather than an entity.

Support as I said earlier!

Story TitleGoodnight
Author - James Gonzalez
Story Page https://www.launchora.com/story/goodnight

"do you have monsters in your closet? Little Brian Park does."
That' what the description reads. Yes, Brian Park do have monsters in the closet, but this is never as simple as it looks. The monsters are darker and disgusting and the fact that the victim is a child of seven years just spice up the things. An excellent focus had been put on the character's experience through out. The power of the writer's mind can be seen at its peak when he explains the situations and the rapid changes. Evil never looked so dark as much this story has shown and it's almost like you can feel the things happening with your own self, the sounds, the fear, the environment. A writing so clear, you can see through! And its not restricted to that, in fact the ending is something so scary that it will give you chills even though its a mere dialog.

Gonzalez is basically a dark and horror story-writer and is amazing at that! Some more of his amazing works includes Nevaeh, Why I Sleep With The Door Closed, Insomnia series, and well take a look at his creations and you shall find more!!

Story Title - The Choice
Author - Deepak Bos
Story Page - https://www.launchora.com/story/choice

Remember those times when its really hard to decide a perfect title for the story? Well I kinda have a strong feeling that Deepak never had to go through that for at least this one. As here, the whole story revolves around a choice, that the narrator has to face, the wrong one versus the right. And this choice is vital, for its about saving a life, but more than that, its about changing the choice, which again is quite confusing. Anyways the best way to figure out what this story truly is about, one must read it. A plot that is sure to make you smile by the end. I really don't want to break the suspense, at least not for this one. ITS A MUST READ! (And by must, I mean it!)

Well, its kinda sad to see, this kind of a writer, dormant. But we must respect him for the story he wrote. And that's why the author's page.

Now definitely these 4 aren't the only stories I have read in the genre but to cover more it will require me some time. And so for today I end here, hope you all enjoy the stories!!

Do leave a comment if you like these stories and you would like me to cover some more genres!
