I protest,
You don't hear me.
You shout,
I don't hear you.
You try to convince,
I just scream more and more.
I try to explain,
Your voice becomes louder and louder.
Problems knock to our door,
Instead of surpassing them together,
We just know how to worsen the matter.
We both silently cry in sleepless nights,
We both want to get rid of this plight.
But neither of us listen to each other,
As we both have ego as our prime barrier.
But now let this be enough,
Let our ego keep aside
And interpret our matter.
Let's show the problems that
They can't be sustained any longer if we stay together.
Let us recall the promises of lifelong togetherness we made,
Let us hold each other's hand
And again make castle on our dream land.
I know then everything will again come on track,
Again we glow together,
And the lost sweetness of our relationship will be back.
It will again fill our heart,
Again we will realise that,
Though two bodies we are,
One soul lies inside us.
We are each other's life's part,
And nothing can make us apart.
