Let's get drunk again.

Let's be drunk so you would call or text to say you missed me. Let's be drunk so we could spend the wee hours planning our beach and mountain getaways over the phone. Let's be drunk so we could send at-this-moment photos of our unattractive selves. Let's get drunk again so we could leave footprints and flags on the shores and hills together, not tears and screams when we visit those places alone. Let's get drunk again so we would fill our inbox with shy, sober thoughts and gutsy, drunk texts, instead of seeing each other online but the last message was sent months ago.

Let's be drunk so you would knock on my door at the middle of the night with pizza and a gallon of ice cream on your hands. Let's be drunk so we could talk about our tattoos and why we had them inked over our scars. Let's get drunk again so we would have matching bow and arrow inked on our wrists, instead of this empty broken heart I had on my chest.

Let's be drunk so you would reach for my hand and take me to the dancefloor. Let's be drunk so you could put your hands on my waist and mine around your neck. Let's get drunk again and dance the night away with our hearts beating as one, instead of Lany's heartbreaking songs blasting through my earphones.

Let's be drunk so you would drink the shot that is supposed to be mine. Let's be drunk so we could laugh about our corny jokes and clumsy actions. Let's get drunk again so you would take me to your apartment and I would never have to leave when the morning comes. Let's get drunk again so we would spend the next day dealing with our hangovers together by showering for an hour and eating spicy noodles, instead of taking aspirins and sleeping the headache away on our own beds.

Let's be drunk so you would stare at my sleepy eyes then kiss me passionately. Let's be drunk so I could pull you closer and whisper the 'I love you' I failed to say before we parted ways. Let's get drunk again so you would say the same words with 'more' at the end of the sentence, instead of your 'Goodbye' that I keep on hearing inside my mind.

Honey, let's drink beer, or rum, or brandy, or tequila, or gin, or anything that could drown us away from this lonely world. Let's get drunk again with each other's stares, or hugs, or kisses, or moans, or anything that could take us to cloud nine just like how we used to.

Honey, let's get drunk so we would fall in love again.

So you would fall in love with me again.
