"Let's get married" — I'm sorry..

To that girl who rejected a wedding proposal,

Never ever feel guilty for saying "no".

Just because you said no doesn't mean you love him less. 'Cause why would you commit into something you're not ready? Why?? Always speak your mind.

It's okay if you chose your responsibilities as a daughter, your career, your passions, your master's degree, your independence, your faith. It's okay to be afraid of marriage especially if you're someone who came from an "almost" broken family; if you're someone who had witnessed lots of failed marriage and infidelity, if you're someone who believes that marriage doesn't guarantee "forever". Because if he genuinely loves you, he would wait. He would understand. He will. He won't pressure you changing your "no" into a "yes". He'll work for it. He won't give up. He'll prove himself worthy of spending the rest of your life with him. Again, he won't give up until you're ready. If at some point he did, then you just rejected something worthy of rejection. Dear, maybe he's not "the one".
