Luna was a happy girl! Yeah, she was very happy until the day she lost her one and only friend Amy.
Life for her is getting a nightmare and death becomes her enemy because Amy was more than a friend, she always counted her as her twin sister.
Let’s take a glance on Luna, that little ten years old girl with blue eyes and long curly golden hair and dress in a white robe always looks like princess; the saddest princess I have ever seen. She talks to her invisible Amy like she still alive, plays alone and goes to school alone; loneliness is becoming her friend after Amy.
One Monday evening, when she returned to home, after a long day at school, she found some letters in the mailbox, one of those letters was for her and is was written by Amy! She couldn’t believe her eyes, how can that happen?! Amy died five months ago but how can she send a letter? Do people have possibility to send letters from heaven?
She opened the door, walked quickly up the stairs to her bedroom to check out what this letter contains:
Hey darling,
It’s me! I wrote to you those few lines to say how I miss you; did you miss me, too? I know you do and I know that you are very sad for my death but this is life, we born to live and die and this is the way that the life goes on. I hope you’ll understand those lines and wish you overcome your sorrow for me.
With love, Amy.
Unbelievable but nice! She feels happy just to know that her friend Amy misses her even if she is so far away in heaven. Luna wouldn’t tell her strange story to her mother and kept it such a secret…
Luna grows up; she has now fourteen years old. Her golden curly hair becomes more attractive, her eyes are so pretty, even words can’t describe them. She becomes a legend in the high school she rides because of the high degrees she attempts every scholar year; she is getting wiser than before. Amy’s mum, Clara, sees that this is the perfect time for Luna to know the truth behind these letters she received for the last four years, but she doesn’t know how and what will be Luna’s reaction.
She takes a white sheet of paper, puts it on the old desk, takes a pen in her right hand hoping makes it race on the paper and thinking! Thoughts run so far; ideas struggle in her mind, she doesn’t even know how to begin this letter.
Suddenly, a bright light shown on his eyes which paint a smile on her face;
Dear Luna,
…
But what else?! Nothing! She starts from nothing; this nothing which doesn’t want to be something. Yes, something that she hopefully wants and looks for hours ago.
It's 3:00 pm, the paper is still all white, empty; night is deeply sinking in a deafening silence, just wolves’ moaning breaks that silence. Soon, the dawn will rise; the sun will bright and shine with its beams to bring life to that silence, to make the nocturnal dreams come true even if it’s too hard in this world full of hate and misery. Those who dreamed about having a breakfast; walking and living for another silly day, for sure it will be realized; but how about those who dreamed about breathing liberty, how about those who dreamed about heaven! How about rain in a hot sunny day? How about a frozen fire? How about living in peace for the rest of their lives? Will they attempt their dreams? Will they show them realized? For me, it’s not a choice to dream, dreams come alone!
The paper is still not delivered; words are looked behind memory’s bars
