Life is beautiful

I have always had a thing for philosophical views on various aspects. I look at things and try to tag them with a metaphor and a philosophical view. So recently I have started being a keen observer. More precisely, I have started looking at life more closely. I have started observing how life takes its own course and we can do nothing about it. We just go with the flow.

Since life takes its own path, the next thing that comes in question is the smoothness of the path. We have always hated roughness and loved smoothness. We have always wanted smoothness and complained when the road became rough. I personally have always complained as to why I am having a bad phase. Well, life doesn't take its path without a reason. The bad phases come because it's needed in life. For example, I started writing poems only when I had a heartbreak and not because I topped in class. So, what we presently see may not always be the climax of the movie, but a prologue. Today, a heartbreak can give us a John Keats five years after. A red mark in the report card can make me a topper in the next exam.

Talking about today and tomorrow and five years after , etc, I should mention how time has an immense effect on us. I have seen siblings fighting over property, men being greedy for money, people being too arrogant for doing practically nothing and what not. Do these things actually stand the test of time? No, they are washed in the high waves of time and it leaves you with the sand, the inevitable: death. The past is something we cannot change and the future is something we don't know. The only thing in our hand is the present. What we do today will decide our tomorrow. So why do we fight for perishable properties? What pleasure do we get by hurting someone with our arrogance? Why don't we think what is going to happen if the heart stops in no time? All our greed and arrogance end then and there. So time doesn't care about who you are. It only cares about a disciplined way of moving forward and it's up to us as to how we utilise this thing called time- either by complaining, hurting others, fighting over material pleasure or respecting everything that life gives us. Life gives us people who love us as well as the ones who hate us. Life gives good times as well as the tough times. We, the people often say that being with the person who hurt me was a waste of time. It's a wrong concept actually. The person who hurt you was the one who taught you about life. For example, this write up is based on the experience I had with the people who hurt me and the rough phase I have had so far. So, they made me write such a thing. Thus, they were not a waste of time. They made me develop whatever talent I have in writing.

Life will give us both bad and good. Our task is to find the appropriate reason as to why that happens. Life gives us what suits us the best. I am capable of handling tough times and learning from them and thus I had my share of bad times. I know how to respect the good moments that life might give and thus I have had my share of good times as well. People actually get everything from life but most of the time they overlook them and say that life is unfair. Actually the words good, bad and unfair are all relative. Only beautiful things are said to be good. But what about the ugly things that make the beautiful things look good? So that way, the ugly things become a a part of beauty isn’t it? So, life is beautiful even if it gives you bad times because bad times are a part of the good times that are coming soon. Thus, one has to keep the eyes open, have faith and see how beautiful life can be.
