Living Paradox
By Age of Metanoia1 min read2,966 launches I was a living paradox
Serene as sheep but like an ox
They tell me to dance but I sing
I'm a servant,but I'm a king
I'm alive but I felt the grave
I'm really full but then I crave
I am brave but then I shiver
I am gold but like a silver
I'm the nightmare in your daydream
I'm the dullness under the gleam
The well-known seraphim with horns,
wearing a halo with torns
I will set a smile in my face,
even when tears fall down like race
Blind, but it's a beautiful sight!
I see the sunrise when it's night!
My own silence was deafening!
The heart who beats isn't beating!
Somersault of luminesence,
stray animal in a palace!
I'm like a fish out of water
A summer within a winter
Like a drought under a drizzle
Indeed, a distressful damsel!
I am called as an honest liar,
filthy sinner with a prayer!
I'm like a pretty-ugly truth
An anti-fountain of youth!
I want it black when it is white
I want it dark when it is light
A conflicted contradiction,
your biggest abomination!
I gently speak but it's a curse
They said I'm best but I'm the worst!
I'm a paradox lost in verse!
Living in my own universe
