Longing for Shire

i'm a hobbit from Shire lost in the man's world of chaos , a way back to home is what i seek and to belong is what i desire .

i'm tired from the burden of sorrows i carry still i can't let go of them because they were destined for me to carry .

As i look on to my side i feel the support of my companion who is the only reason for my persistence .

i don't know where my steps take me to , for the path i tread on is unknown to me but the thought of Shire keeps me going .

I wish to be back home in time when the air is filled with the scent of strawberries and noise of chirping birds .

But as i move on along the perilous path i realize that my Shire is where my companion is because there is nothing better compared to the warmth of love .

i don't know how long i can keep on going but i'm not scared of falling down because i know that my companion will be there to get me up .

At the end of this perilous journey when it will be time to sail to peace i will hold on tight to my companion for i don't want to lose my shire - my true precious .
