Loyalty. Now what does this word mean to you? Does this mean, devotion? Or, trust? Or, belief? Or, a bitter experience?
If there is one thing that can be learnt by bitter experiences, it is Trust and Loyalty. Only during your perilous times, will you know the people around you completely.
One thing life has taught me about loyalty is that you can be loyal to as many people as you want. But you will never get anything in return. You just can't control someone's loyalty.
No matter how much good you're to them, you cannot expect them to treat you the same. No matter how much they mean to you, you cannot expect them to hold you as high.
Unfortunately and unforgivably, the people you love the most turn out to be the people you can trust the least.
In order to trust someone for who they are, you just have to let go of who they are not. Only then can you love, trust and be loyal to someone.
