Maria Sharapova is a world-renowned expert tennis participant from Russia who had been created on April 19, 1987, in Nyagan, Siberia, Russia. Aleksandr Kafelnikov, a buddy, introduced Maria with her very first tennis racket in 1991 and she started to practice frequently with her dad in a neighborhood park. She had her very first tennis courses with veteran Russian trainer Yuri Yutkin. She suggested her to take Expert training in the IMG Academy at Bradenton, Florida. After learning how to play with tennis for a youngster, she moved to Florida with her dad, getting a scholarship at age nine to obtain training in the Nick Bollettieri Tennis Academy, however was not able to enter there since she had been too young for this.

Her dad worked in various low-paying tasks so she would take her tennis courses. Before she had been accepted in the International Management Group (IMG) Academy, she had been coached by Rick Macci in the Rick Macci Tennis Academy. Back in 1995, Maria has been signed by IMG. IMG declared paying an yearly tuition fee of $35,000 to get Maria to remain together with the academy, Roku sticks not working on TV where she finally enrolled at age 9. Back in November 2000, she won her first contest in the Eddie Herr International Junior Tennis Championship from the women' 16th branch. She was afterwards bestowed with all the Rising Star Award.

When she was 15, she performed at the final of the Australian Open Junior championship, which makes her the youngest man to get to the closing, and proceeded to compete among her peers, finishing second at the Wimbledon and hitting the next round of French Open (Junior) in 2002.
